Because we issue invoices and, as a Trust Service Provider, legally valid certificates in the account holder's name. We check that the identifier is correct and matches the name: that way nobody can sign up pretending to be your company.

The verified mobile becomes the sender of your messages and the destination of your account's second login factor. The PIN expires in 15 minutes and we use it only for that.
